Two Types of Dark

Friday 17 June 2011

Once upon a time
all that could touch
the dark was
the moon,
the stars,
the fire.

~

On a charcoal beach
the moon runs silver
fingers through the water.

From the cradle of the sky
the dead stars live,
stream light through time.

For bottomless Apollyon
fire forges iron to
cage that bitch up.
